visited the auto show a few weeks back. vw group has become a powerhouse and it is no secret that their number one goal is to be the world’s largest automaker by 2018. they aim to sell 1 million vehicles per year. i personally like them because they’re one of our clients and i interface with them a lot. plus their commercials crack me up.

i’m lucky enough to be able to travel on occasion to some pretty great (and also not so great…) places for work. i always come back to the states with some loose change in my pocket from my trips. it’s never enough to exchange back to USD so i keep them in a little jar in my apartment. my boss often refers to the different currencies as funny money which i’ve appropriately named this photo.

there’s nothing like spending a summer day at the ballpark enjoying a hotdog and cold beer. spent the day in detroit and decided last minute to go to the day game. love that comerica does not have a bad seat in the stadium and grateful that it was in the shade cause it was hot hot hot!

i went to the visit the tree during the christmas holiday but unfortunately every one else that lives in new york decided to do the same. while i was being pushed and shoved trying to walk away from the crowd, i managed to snap this quick picture. it’s actually one of my favorites. what can i say? i’m a macro shot kind of girl.

my cousin made this for thanksgiving and i’ve been itching to try it out myself. granted it was a bit of work to get to this end product, it was all worth it. macaroni, cauliflower, pancetta, an assortment of cheese and bread crumbs = delicious!

was back in new york for the weekend and since the weather was so nice, angie and i took a sisterly stroll around our neighborhood. i managed to catch this shot of her trying to grab the last of the leaves from our neighbor’s tree. i was really enamored with the richness of the red color. i’ve never really appreciated the fall season but i’m really enjoying photographing it this year.
